We don’t understand why they’re together, 52% of the audience shrug, so we don’t see any reason why they’d break up. Obviously, Lily is willing to take whatever Billy dishes out.

And that’s whether it’s his pursuit of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), his willingness to run stories which require Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) legal interventions, or his continuing to provoke Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), which has never ended well for anyone.

Then there are the 34% of you who remind that Billy always goes back to Victoria. Always. It’s not that they have history together. It’s not that they have kids together. It’s that they are both painfully dysfunctional, and the other is the only one who fills whatever need the other has, due to the terrific upbringings both received from their even more dysfunctional parents. (Sorry, John Abbott, yeah, your kids love you, but you did a crappy job choosing mothers for them.)

Billy and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are scheming together, which means they’ll be in bed sooner or later 14% of you predict. Phyllis will do something terrible, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get angry with her, she’ll feel self-righteous, Billy will be there and, next thing you know, let the cheating begin! Lily won’t put up with it, and that will be the end of that.
