The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, September 7, 2022, sees Chloe Mitchell Fisher filling the Chelsea Lawson shaped-hole in her life by giving the same lectures she used to give Chelsea to Sally Spectra, while Billy Abbott thinks now would be a good time for him to take an interest in the family company, and Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor asks her husband to step in – so soon after she promised him to quit doing that.

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has a more than good reason to hate Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). She did her best to keep Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) from obsessing over him. It didn’t work.

Now, Chloe is doing her best to keep Sally (Courtney Hope) from obsessing over him. And when she’s not doing that, she’s wondering about Sally and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow). Doesn’t Chloe have a husband? Two young children? A job of her own? Let Sally handle her own love life!

It seems not to be enough for Billy (Jason Thompson) that his mommy put him and his girlfriend in charge of a company she inherited from the woman whose husband she stole. Now Billy wants a say in his daddy’s company, too.

Sure, Big Brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been running it for literally decades. Sure, he bought a company for his own son and daughter-in-law, and they don’t deserve the promotions anymore than Billy did his. But Genoa City is nepotism-town, and Billy doesn’t get to throw stones. He does, anyway.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) promised Chance (Conner Floyd) that she wouldn’t put him in the middle of any more uncomfortable situations like she did after Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. However, Abby puts Chance in the middle of an uncomfortable situation despite her promise.
