The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, September 16, 2021, bring us back to the days when Connor Newman’s happiness was the only thing the citizens of Genoa City could think about. Plus, despite telling Nikki Newman that he approved of their daughter’s choice of a fiancé, Victor Newman quietly puts some of his own plans into action.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
With Connor (Judah Mackey) away at boarding school and camp for most of the last year, the adults in his life finally had some time to focus on other issues. But now Connor is back. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has decided to tell him that he and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) aren’t together anymore. (Will he tell Connor that it’s because Mommy tried to frame Daddy for attempting to murder a man? We’ll see!)
Unable to do anything without Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) there to hold his hand and tell him how wonderful he is, Adam asks her to help him break the news to Connor. Except the kid isn’t happy to see the woman he once thought was trying to come between his mommy and daddy, so he runs off in a snit. You’ll never guess who he encounters then!

Hearing how much Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) secret past sounds like his own – down to the abusive father and name change – Victor (Eric Braeden) gave him and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) his blessing for their marriage.

But while he told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) there was nothing they could do, their daughter made up her mind, Victor was secretly plotting to launch an investigation of his own. After all, he can’t let Billy find out something Victor doesn’t. Even if it hurts his daughter, Victor needs to show him who is the bigger man.
