Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) promised Kyle (Michael Mealor) he’d be waiting for his son and grandson at the Abbott Mansion…where Jack had some serious matters to discuss with him. But, Jack isn’t there for their homecoming.
Which is probably a blessing — have you ever seen a toddler after an international flight? It’s not pretty! Jack is busy breaking the news to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) still being alive. And giving in to Nikki’s demands that he take her to the undead woman!
Young and the Restless: Choosing Sides
Diane barely finishes sparring with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) when Nikki is on her doorstep, with another bunch of choice words. Nikki has spent a decade thinking she accidentally killed the woman.

You’d think this would be good news! But Nikki doesn’t appreciate thinking she had yet another body on her conscience. (No, Diane is not the first person Nikki “killed”). And she wants Diane to know exactly how unappreciative Nikki is.

Victor (Eric Braeden) signed a document saying he could never remove Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) as CEO of the family company. But then, when he decided he no longer trusted the husband Victor had loudly championed just a few months ago, he plopped Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into the top spot. Now Adam wants to stay there. He pointed out how useful he’d just been to his father. But Victoria isn’t giving up her position. Which child will Victor screw over this time?
