The Y&R spoilers for Monday, April 18, 2022, are a lesson in people…not learning their lessons. Victor Newman continues to think that, this time, he’ll be able to outsmart Ashland Locke. Phyllis Summers decides to take on Diane Jenkins…again. And Jack Abbott has to break news to Kyle Abbot which, anywhere else, would sound bizarre, but, in Genoa City, should be just like a regular news update.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
“Hey, son,” Jack (Peter Bergman) says, “So it turns out your murdered mother, Diane Jenkins [Susan Walters], is still alive. How do you like them apples?”
“Oh, no,” Kyle (Michael Mealor) says, eyes wide. “This is so shocking and unexpected, not to mention unprecedented news!”
“I know,” Jack agrees. “It’s only happened before with Victor Newman [Eric Braeden], and Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow], and that mobster Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] briefly married, and that woman who looked so much like Eva Longoria, and, oh, wasn’t there a whole thing with your current wife’s ex-husband…and, yes, I, too, am extremely shocked, son. So shocked!”

Young and the Restless: This Time I’m Really Going To Do It
Every time Victor has tried to back Ashland (Robert Newman) into a corner, his wily son-in-law has weaseled his way out of it. But, Victor is like Wile E. Coyote. He keeps thinking this is the time he’ll finally get it right. And since Victor always wins in the end…we can’t really blame him.
Y&R Spoilers: Girl Boss
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has gone head to head with Diane plenty of times before. She assumed she won because Diane was, well, dead. Not so fast! Diane is back, and Phyllis doesn’t feel nearly as victorious. So even though the situation with Jack and Kyle is really none of Phyllis’s business…why should that stop a woman on a mission?
