The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Friday, January 5 set up a Friday cliff-hanger, as Lily and Cane flirt with a reunion, Traci forces her family to band together, and Abby refuses to be cowed by Lauren, Scott… or Sharon.
What Goes Around, Comes Around
Lily (Christel Khalil) stood by Cane (Daniel Goddard) during Juliet’s (Laur Allen) bogus sexual harassment suit, and only left him when she learned he’d lied about sleeping with her. The fact that he was proven to be the father of Juliet’s baby was evidence even Lily couldn’t overlook.
But now Juliet is conveniently dead, baby Sam is recovering thanks to the blood Lily donated, and Jill (Jess Walton) is scheming to get the estranged couple back together.
It’s not like Lily ever stopped loving Cane, and she certainly never stopped feeling attracted to him. So what’s the hold-up? That’s what Cane would like to know.
Come Together – Right Now!
Traci (Beth Maitland) has had enough. While Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) bicker, Dina (Marla Adams) is deteriorating right in front of their eyes.
Traci thinks it’s time for her siblings to put aside their differences and do what’s best for Dina.
The Abbotts have always excelled at circling the wagons when it comes to a common enemy. And now that Graham (Max Shippee) is back in town, the enemy can’t get any more common.
The Innocence Project
When Lauren (Tracey Bregman) lectured Abby (Melissa Ordway) about the affair with Scott (Daniel Hall), Abby pointed out that, technically, it was Lauren’s son who cheated, not Abby. She continues clinging to her innocence in the face of other condemnation — including from Sharon.
It was her boyfriend who was in an allegedly committed relationship when he slept with Abby. And when he kissed her, too. Abby was footloose, fancy-free… and single.
