The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, November 22 promise Thanksgiving surprises as uninvited guests show up when they’re least expected – but most wanted.
Second Choices
Having been unceremoniously uninvited from Jack’s (Peter Bergman) Thanksgiving with his family – and all because she has the gall to still be upset over Dina’s (Marla Adams) stabbing her – Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) makes her way back to the Newman ranch for the holiday, announcing that she’ll be spending it with her family.
Oh, Nikki, Nikki, Nikki. Do you never learn? This is always how it starts.
You let your guard down, Victor (Eric Braeden) acts like a semi-decent human being, you look around, see the children and the adorable grandchildren, everything looks holiday card perfect, you reminisce a little bit about the times when Victor wasn’t a controlling, mumbling jerk and – bam!
All the progress you’ve made, all the realizations you’ve had, are gone with the wind, and you’re back where you started from, totally under his spell.
Maybe This Year Will Be Different
The only hope for not repeating your usual, destructive patterns is if Thanksgiving implodes earlier this year. Luck is on your side! Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) get into a fight when Abby believes Victoria has insulted her. Probably because Victoria has.
Home For the Holidays
Billy (Jason Thompson) is eager to celebrate Thanksgiving, but who will have him? Will he brave the wrath of the Newmans – and Victoria – to celebrate with his kids?
Will he assume Jack’s invitation to live with the Abbots extends to having Thanksgiving dinner with them? Will he try to impose himself on an unwilling Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)? Or, will he and the equally exiled Cane (Daniel Goddard) resort to a bachelor Thanksgiving?
This raises the question, will Esther (Kate Linder) be celebrating with Bella and Kevin? And how has the little girl not spilled about Mommy being, you know, alive, yet?
