The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Tuesday, November 14 are a study in inappropriate reactions. Dina seems giddy at the prospect of being arrested, and Victor finally understands the seriousness of Abby’s disappearance when he realizes it could hurt his bottom line and standing in the community.

Cuff ‘Em, Paul-O!
Paul (Doug Davidson) demonstrates his stellar detective skills when one of the women he’s searching for, Dina (Marla Adams), wanders into the room at Jabot where Paul happens to be standing. This is why he’s the Chief of Police, folks!

He informs Dina that she is under arrest for stabbing Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Dina reacts like it’s all some kind of joke. Or a weird role-playing game….

Handle It
Victor (Eric Braeden) knows that Abby (Melissa Ordway) is missing and possibly in the hands of a madman who has proven himself capable of killing women in the past. “This is a nightmare,” Victor mumbles with all the emotion of a man pondering his hang-nail.

What will people think if they learn Victor Newman’s daughter is in cahoots with a guy who runs a sex-trafficking ring? What will this do to his stock prices? Or to his image of himself as the saint of Genoa City?

You Made Him Do It!
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) blames Sharon (Sharon Case) for Scott (Daniel Hall) being in danger after going chasing Abby and Zach.

That would be Lauren’s son Scott, the investigative reporter whom viewers met, on this go around, while he was being held hostage by unnamed Middle Eastern terrorists in an unnamed Middle Eastern country.

Scott, who works for Victor and was investigating the sex-trafficking ring of his own accord. Scott, who is no longer the baby Sheila kidnapped, and is quite capable of making his own decision. Yeah, that Scott….
