The Young and the Restless Spoilers (YR): A Box Of Secrets Could Hold All The Answers

The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Jack getting his hands on a treasure trove of Dina’s secrets, but will they hold the information he seeks?

A Search For The Truth
Jack’s (Peter Bergman) quest for the truth is going to be a long, hard road that’ll take him to times in Dina’s (Marla Adams) life he’s not sure he should ever visit. It’s a hard battle to face but he knows he must dive into her past to discover his roots.

Luckily, a gift from his best friend Neil (Kristoff St. John) could help Jack put all the pieces together.

A Shocking Present
In a confusing and odd twist, it seems a box of old diaries came with the rest of Dina’s Mergeron paperwork when she sold her company to Neil and he’s held onto them all this time.

Instead of giving them back to Dina (who he assumed didn’t want them), he put them in a storage closet for safe keeping. He had a feeling they’d be useful one day, and well, that day has come.

Dina’s Past Comes To Life
Expect to see Jack digging through the journals as he searches every page for his real father’s name. This is the only link he has to Dina’s shattering memory and he hopes she wrote out every detail.

Much to Jack’s delight, he finds the entry of when and how Dina first met his father. He  reads all about the first encounter and it shows just how smitten Dina was with the mystery man.

She was in a troubled marriage and her knight in shining armor came at just the right time to sweep her off her feet.

A Closely Guarded Secret
Unfortunately, Dina didn’t reveal his identity, at least in the pages Jack gets to read. In fact, it looks like Dina set out to cover her tracks years by ripping out every page with her suitor’s name!

Poor Jack will take one step forward and three steps back. It’s starting to look like it will take a miracle for him to ever know who his father really is.
