The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, July 4th reveal just one explosion over another, as Cane puts his foot down with the Abbotts, Arturo and Abby create some fireworks of their own, and Tessa gets revolutionary news.

Over (His) Dead Body
Ever since Jack (Peter Bergman) decided that Chancellor is his biological father (based on an old photo in a safe-deposit box and the word of woman who thought he was her father one day and a servant the next), he’s been determined to get what’s his.

That means recognition, and the Chancellor name… and oh, yeah, maybe the Chancellor company, too.

Jack wants to dig up Phillip to test his DNA. Jill (Jess Walton) said no. (Apparently only she’s allowed to have Phillip’s illegitimate son.)

Now Jack is gearing up to go to court. Kyle (Michael Mealor) suggested they prep Dina (Marla Adams) to take the stand first.

However, Cane (Daniel Goddard) has no intention of letting it get that far. (Apparently only he’s allowed to scam his way into the Chancellor family.) If he’s the last line of defense between Jack and the Chancellor family, so be it.

Let the battle begin!

The Right Tools For the Right Job
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Arturo (Jason Canela) have sex. This time, there are no bras in the couch. Thanks for cleaning up, Lola! Your big brother appreciates it!

Another Mess for Tessa?
The last time Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) got some bad news, we spent weeks hearing the words “sex-trafficking ring” repeated over and over again.

Soon, Sharon (Sharon Case) became obsessed with a character no one knew or cared about, and Abby, Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Scott (Daniel Hall), and Noah (Robert Adamson) got pulled into the drama.

Tessa is about to get some news again… and it looks like a doozy.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
