The Young and the Restless Spoilers: It’s A Wedding Day…With Dire Threats

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 16 reveal a day of love, happiness, fear, and mystery.

And, it all surrounds Kyle and Lola’s wedding. Kyle gets a threatening text from Theo, while Lola wonders if her mother with show up…not to mention her father. You won’t want to miss a moment of this edge-of-your-seat episode.

Going To the Chapel
Kyle (Michael Mealor) planned the entire wedding himself, wanting to make it perfect for Lola (Sasha Calle).

But first, her mother found out about Lola almost dying and nobody telling her. She threw a temper tantrum and returned to Florida, announcing she wouldn’t be coming back for the wedding.

Seriously, how was this Lola’s fault? She was in a coma. She couldn’t have told her. That was all on Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Take it out on them!

Jack (Peter Bergman) is headed to Miami to see if he can change Celeste’s (Eva LaRue) mind. Will his Smiling Jack charm work in time for the ‘I Do’s’?

And We’re Going To Get Married
Meanwhile, will the I Do’s even happen now that Theo (Tyler Johnson) has told Summer (Hunter King) what he’s holding over Kyle’s head…and sure made it sound like he planned to use it for maximum impact.

Summer warned Kyle, but that was before Theo sent Kyle a wedding day text that made him hesitate. What if Celeste shows up… but Kyle doesn’t? That would be seriously awkward.

Take a Walk
Then again, what if they have the opposite problem: What if too many people show up? Like, say, Rey is getting ready to walk his baby sister down the aisle…when their dad busts in to perform the same task.

That could get more than awkward. That could get violent. He did send a letter saying he just wants to be a guest, but one never knows.
