The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 30 promise another day of schemes and scams in Genoa City, but what else is new?
The Newman siblings each refusing to back down in the face of Adam’s threats, while Lauren won’t be ignored.
Billion Dollar Baby
Adam (Mark Grossman) offered to get out of Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) — at Newman Enterprises and in Genoa City — for a mere half a billion dollars, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor’s current address, and custody of Christian.
Instead of turning into a self-pitying lump, Victoria decided to get proactive. Sure, that means running and tattling to Daddy, but it still beats the self-pitying lump.
Adam admitted to Victor (Eric Braeden) that he’d extended the offer. Victor chose to interpret it as just another example of what a kick-ass businessman his son is. Now is it time for the self-pitying lump? Nope! Victoria has a plan!
Securing Your Valuables
Nick offered Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) a job as his head of security. He said the job might include some clandestine, personal matters. Rey wondered if that might have to do with Adam.
Nick didn’t say no. Now that Nick has ex-cop and his ex-wife current live-in boyfriend on the payroll, just how exactly will he ask Rey to help out with Adam?
Rey arranged a whole, fake prison escape for Sharon, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victoria.

Surely, he should be able to get to the bottom of Adam’s shooting… and the guy who just walked into the police station and turned himself in. Paul (Doug Davidson) doesn’t buy it. Why should Nick?
Digging Deep
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) assured Lauren (Tracey Bregman) she wasn’t plotting anything nefarious – or illegal – against Jack (Peter Bergman).
