The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Victoria suffering the consequences of her vindictive actions.
While Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) didn’t spill her ingenious plan on screen for how to satisfy Ashley (Eileen Davidson) while keeping Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) clearly decided to take his in-name-only wife’s advice.
He called a meeting with both Ashley and Victoria, so they dutifully arrived at his (very masculine) office only to be kept waiting an inordinate amount of time while he spent his morning at The Athletic Club. Because obviously, these two powerful women have literally nothing at all better to do than sit and wait on The Great Victor Newman…
Meanwhile, at the club, Victor lectures Abby (Melissa Ordway) on family and loyalty, but she refuses to back down reminding her father that Ashley is, in fact, her mother. Further into the conversation she also tells him how she doesn’t feel she fits in at Newman and she knows he doesn’t see her as CEO material.
Finally, after a suitable amount of time, Victor decides to go to the office. First, he meets with Ashley, leaving Victoria skulking in the hallway desperately trying to overhear any tidbit. Of course, that’s exactly how a gloating Abby finds her.
Once again, Abby wants to have a front row seat for her sister’s humiliation. And while Victoria bravely tells Abby her mom will surely need her comfort, it’s clear that Vicky is shaking in her (high heeled shoes) boots.
When a supremely confident Ashley struts out of Victor’s office with a “your turn,” Victoria slinks in. Of course, there’s Daddy Victor sitting behind his big desk. She bravely faces him, trembling… You messed up big time, Victoria.
Her reckless and spiteful actions put the company at risk and the only thing more important than family is the company. Obviously.
Because of her bad behavior (and the fact that she was caught), she has two options. Oh, does that mean she must choose her punishment? No, it’s not a punishment. Duh. What is she? Six years old? It’s simply the consequences of her abhorrent behavior.
No. Victoria must choose either a humiliating demotion from her current position at Newman Enterprises or resign in disgrace. Shouldn’t her choice be obvious?
