The Young and the Restless Spoilers, Thursday, June 13: Victor’s Devastating Decision

The Young and the Restless spoilers promise a Newman family meeting will end in shock, heartbreak, and tears. Victor reveals a secret, chooses a successor, and watches his children fall apart.

Victor (Eric Braeden) is a very sick man. His blood disease is threatening his life and he may be running out of time. Normally a pillar of strength, he is forced to admit his illness to his children.

He calls his sons and daughters for a family gathering no one will ever forget. He sits them down, looks them each in the eye, and tells them the end may be near. He is ill and it could be deadly.

The Newman heirs will behave exactly as you expect. Abby (Melissa Ordway) will break, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will look at his father with regret, Adam (Mark Grossman) will show concern, and Vicky (Amelia Heinle) will try to take charge. She offers to step up for her daddy, but quickly realizes she is NOT the chosen one.

It will come as no surprise when Victor asks to speak to Adam alone. He offers Adam his top spot — the Newman throne. He can’t imagine anyone but his youngest son running the company.

Spoilers reveal Victor is in for a shock when Adam turns him down flat! He doesn’t want to be at NE any more than Nick does.

He has his own life, his own dreams, and a brand new company to run. Remember, he managed to get a hold of Dark Horse.

Then Adam does something Victor would never expect. He flat out tells his father to give the spot to Victoria. She’s the oldest, she’s the most dedicated, and quite frankly, she is the only one who wants it.
