Breaking The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 5 promise a day of shocking business decisions and even more stunning personal realizations.

Lily Goes After Hilary
Lily (Christel Khalil) wants to knock Hilary (Mishael Morgan) down a peg (or three) and motions to have her removed from the board. Hilary’s terrible business decisions and current scandals play a big role in her failures. She may think she’s a brilliant businesswoman, but her track record speaks for itself.

Ben Becomes Distant
Abby (Melissa Ordway Gaston) feels Stitch (Sean Carrigan) slipping away again. Every time she thinks they start to rekindle their flame, he pulls back. She’s starting to worry if her marriage is worth striving to rebuild.

Thankfully, Abby has her mother to lean on. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) becomes her source of advice and strength. She’s lucky to have such a doting parent who’s always there to pick up the pieces. Hopefully, Ashley doesn’t also start picking up the pieces for Ben.

Victoria’s Final Decision
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) makes her final decision about her professional future–and it’s not an easy one. She misses having her own company and being in charge, but she also knows she’ll suffer serious repercussions if she goes against her father’s wishes.
