He wants him to be Jabot CEO because he’s going on a very important trip. Kyle knows he screwed up the last time and can’t believe Jack would ever offer him this position. Jack tells Kyle that he’s matured and their relationship has grown, so he can trust him fully now to take care of the company.
(OK, we have to ask–did he think of Traci? Ashley? Someone like that? Two WOMEN who have run the company and run it well before. His sisters, who have ten times more experience than Kyle? Nahhh, why would he do that?)
Kyle happily accepts the position as Jack takes off for parts unknown. But, he’s not alone. he has someone with him in the back of the car. It’s Young John, asking Jackie Boy where they’re off to next.
In addition, someone else in town decides to go on a trip. Sharon (Sharon Case) has just about had it with Genoa City, asks Nick (Joshua Morrow) to watch Faith, and gets ready to hightail it out of town. Will these two paths cross?
