The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 31 finish out the month with a nail-biter, as Devon is left to decide Lily’s fate, and Cane makes a promise he can’t possibly keep.
Plus, Victoria goes into damage control mode, which only worsens her mental state.
Last Chance For Lily
Neil (Kristoff St. John), Nate (Brooks Darnell), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), Abby (Melissa Ordway), and even Victor (Eric Braeden) have all offered their opinions to Devon (Bryton James) about what he should say at Lily’s (Christel Khalil) sentencing hearing.
That’s a whole lot of people and most of the advice was unsolicited. However, Victor offering his two cents was quite amusing.
Pretty much everybody wants him to ask for leniency. Devon, on the other hand, would prefer to watch his sister fry in the electric chair.
Or, short of that, go to prison for 20 years. As the day is finally upon the Winters family, Devon finds himself alone in his righteous indignation.
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) swears to protect his wife and family — no matter what.
The last time he did that, he almost made them all fugitives (in a country which has an extradition treaty with the U.S., no less). Let’s hope his new plan is a wee bit less felonious. Then again, does the Ashby family know any other way to react to a problem?
