The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Rey actually getting good at his job. He’s been busting women left and right and he’s not done yet. However, he never expected to make this startling discovery.
Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) made a big mistake trying to go after Abby (Melissa Ordway). In her red, hot, drunk rage she didn’t even notice the woman in front of her wasn’t the Newman princess.
Her target wasn’t tall enough, dressed up enough, and didn’t even a head full of flowing, blonde hair.
To make matters worse, she had chance after chance to confess her crime, but she didn’t. She never breathed one single word. In fact, she’s tried to use Lola’s condition to get back in Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) good graces. That was a mistake she’ll live to regret.
The pieces to this violent plot will quickly become apparent and Rey will put it all together just as fast. The moment he realizes his sister was wearing Abby’s jacket becomes a game changer. Lola wasn’t the intended target.
Then, his heart is shattered when he learns just who the intended target was when word gets out about the recent catfight at The Athletic Club.
Why didn’t Mia mention it? He knows Mia’s temper and just how low she’d go. Oh, but there’s more.
If alarm bells weren’t ringing by now, they will when Mia tries to come up with bogus theories. She blames the attack on Abbott enemies, Newman enemies, or even an ex-con trying to get back at her man. None of it makes sense.
Rey starts an in-depth investigation into his wife’s moves that night. He goes through her jewelry, matches the earring, and arrests her himself. He’s done with her games and is ready to throw the book at her once and for all!
