The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 8 reveal a day of odd twists and nerve-wracking turns as secrets, lies, and subconscious desires take center stage.
Stood Up
Adam and Sharon (Sharon Case) both show up to the meeting place but the face-off does not happen. He chickens out when he sees her from his hiding place and decides to turn back. He’s not ready for this and she can not coax him into getting any closer.
She knows he was there, however. It seems Sharon already created a contact for Adam in her phone and, at the moment she texted him, she heard a ping from another phone.
Spoilers reveal Sharon turns to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for a shoulder to lean on. He is in for quite a treat when she shares her “Shadam” story. She and Adam have a rich history full of love, lust, and evil deeds.
Devon’s (Bryton James) in for quite the day. It starts with him nagging Cane to move on and ends with him living in the past.
He and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) open up about their losses and it leads to more dreams of Hilary. Only, this time, the visions of Hil have him doing something he may regret.
Foreshadowing?
Speaking of Cane (Daniel Goddard), he finds out he’s the lead in Traci’s (Beth Maitland) racy romance novel.
His and Lily’s love story may just become her greatest piece of work. Will it help him get Lily back, too? Let’s hope so! At least Cane’s alter ego gets the girl! Maybe…

Expect Maria (Camryn Grimes) to be on edge as her stalker makes contact once again. Another shocking text terrified her and she worries this mess will never end. However, instead of speaking up, speaking out, or even going to the police, she suffers in silence.
It takes Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) getting involved to give Mariah some peace of mind. She texts the stalker and demands a meeting. They will not get it though. Instead, whoever this is, goes radio silent.
It’s like a stalker ghosted the two women and now they don’t know what to do. Again, the idea of calling the cops never occurs to them.
