The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) raw breakdown for Wednesday, May 16 promise heartbreaking revelations and reckless acts.

At the Abbott house, Dina (Marla Adams) is unhinged and losing it fast. John (Jack) is missing, and she’s at her wit’s end!

At Newman Enterprises, Abby confronts Victor (Eric Braeden) about Jack’s (Peter Bergman) situation. The Newman power player is shocked to learn he has disappeared!

Victor denies his involvement with the paternity reveal. While he is concerned about Abby, Victor needs to work with Victoria on an urgent project and sends her away.

Out in the hall, she bumps into Paul (Doug Davidson) and spills all to the police chief about Jack’s disappearance. However, he brushes off her worries. The Abbott is only gone overnight; they can wait a while longer before a search party goes after him.

Suddenly, Paul switches gears and grills Abby about the night JT was murdered!

In the meantime, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Kyle manage to calm Dina down and send her back to her room.

Across town, a drunken Jack wallows in self-pity, on the verge of a massive breakdown. He is at the family cabin alone, and his situation looks bad.

Unhinged, the Abbott decides to make a documentary and begins to record. He spies an old family album and throws it in the fire!

Back at the Abbott house, Abby (Melissa Ordway) is back home, and she is beyond upset! The confrontation with Victor and Victoria left her frazzled and Ashley can’t calm her down.

Abby leaves the house to find Jack. She knows where he might have gone. However, she needs help to find him.

In the meantime, Arturo is giving himself a caffeine boost at Crimson Lights when Abby walks in. She alerts him to her problems, and he agrees to help her. However, Arturo warns her there is a storm brewing, and they need to be careful!

Back at Newman Enterprises, Victoria promises to prove herself to Victor. However, he has more pressing matters than listening to her grovel and leaves. As soon as he is gone, Paul is at the office.

Vicky attempts to thwart his focus, but Paul remains firm. She can continue with her meetings, and he’ll wait for her to finish.

Across town, Kyle meets with Victor about Jack. He admits a deep regret for exposing his father and reveals Jack is unraveling. But that’s not his problem; he wants something from Victor.

Elsewhere, Arturo and Abby arrive at the cabin, but Jack is no longer there. They search the property for him.

Back at Newman Enterprises, Paul shows Victoria JT’s last text messages with her. The logs show JT and Vicky in a heated argument.

Back at the cabin, The rain is coming down, and Jack is still nowhere to be found. A soaked Abby and Arturo are back inside, and they need to get dry.

Elsewhere, Jack is taking a drive in the pouring rain. Distracted and overwhelmed with the paternity letdown, he is devastated!

At the Ranch, Kyle is floored when Victor makes a startling claim. He did not hack into the documentary and owes Kyle nothing! The Young Abbott is taken back, speechless.

In an attempt to win over Victor, Kyle spills another major development over at Jabot. Billy is now acting CEO. The Newman patriarch basks in the sensational news.

Elsewhere, Abby and Arturo are dry, but they can’t leave the cabin. The storm is raging outside, so they settle down with each other. Sparks fly, and one thing leads to another.

At Newman Enterprises, Vicky is cornered, and Paul knows she is hiding things. He makes a promise to her: she’s lying to him, and he won’t stop until he uncovers the reasons for her fabrications.

Across town, Jack floors it and drives recklessly in the storm. Drunk and unhinged, Jack is headed for a certain disaster!

At the office, Vicky is overcome with anxiety and makes a stunning admission to Paul!

Elsewhere, Dina frets, worried about John’s (Jack) whereabouts. Kyle tries to comfort her without success.

Back in the rain, Jack crashes!
