The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, April 18 promise stunning plot twists and sheer shock for several Genoa City players. Get ready for an edge-of-your-seat episode.
At the hospital, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tends to Victor (Eric Braeden). Awake and alert, but extremely weak, the Newman powerhouse still manages to shock Nikki when he makes a stunning request.
At the Office, Neil is surprised to learn about Devon’s blossoming relationship with Simone. He warns Devon (Bryton James) to tread carefully.
At Jabot, Lauren updates Kyle on the whirlwind activity in Jack’s attempted murder case. Jack is free, but still in jail due to some issues. Sideswiped by the news, Kyle is quick on his feet and makes a call.
Elsewhere, Abby and Ashley discuss the Jabot issue. Suddenly, Kyle alerts them he is holding an impromptu meeting.
Back at Vicky’s house, Paul begins his search for clues.
Back at the office, Neil is shellshocked to learn Hilary works there, and she’s also heavily involved in Devon’s day-to-day business.
Back at Vicky’s house, while Paul is upstairs checking her bedroom for clues, Phyllis and Billy visit. The paranoid redhead is stunned to learn Paul is there searching around at the very spot they ‘killed’ him.

Back at the hospital, Victor wants to know where JT is. He tells Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) JT abused Vicky and he wants Nikki to bring the criminal to him.
Nikki assures Victor she will do whatever it takes to protect Vicky.
Back at Vicky’s house, Billy has casually picked up the fire poker used to kill JT. While Victoria and Phyllis squirm watching him swing the weapon around,
Paul appears, and Billy drops the poker.
When he heads over to talk to Paul, the women quickly hide the poker and dash over to Paul. He shows them the evidence he finds: a tablet belonging to Victor.
As soon as Paul leaves, Billy and Phyllis get calls summoning them to Jabot for the meeting with Kyle.
At the office, Neil puts his foot down. He warns Devon and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) things are going to change! He storms out.
At the hospital, Victor is elated to see Neil. His old friend promises to set the ball rolling on damage control. JT will not have a lasting negative effect on them.
Elsewhere, Kyle makes a shocking phone call to the police station with a startling request! He wants them to keep Jack behind bars per Victor’s request.

At Jabot, Kyle alerts everyone the paperwork is all set. As soon as the signatures are there, they will roll out the IPO. Billy warns him that crossing Victor will result in dire consequences.
Kyle brushes off his comments and heads into the boardroom.
At the office, Neil lays down the law and shocks Hilary, Devon, and the rest of the office staff.
At Crimson Lights, Nikki shows up and asks Sharon (Sharon Case) for help.
At Jabot, the votes are tied, and it’s up to Phyllis to make a decision. Lauren reminds Phyllis about her place in the company and the redhead folds. She votes to make the company go public.
Back at Vicky’s house, the mother and daughter return to their conversation about telling Victor the truth. Nikki is completely against it. If they tell him everything, he will use it on Phyllis and Sharon in the future.
And, he will even use it against them. It’s best to bury the secret, the same way they buried JT. Vicky seems reluctant to the idea.
Suddenly, an agitated Reed appears and demands to know where his father is. Sadly, Vicky tells him the truth: JT tried to kill Victor, and now he’s on the run. Reed is shocked beyond words.

At the office, Neil orders Hilary (Mishael Morgan) to pack her bags and leave: She’s fired! His ex-wife refuses to leave and drops a stunner: she could be pregnant with Devon’s baby! Neil is beyond speechless.
He is even more dumbfounded by Devon when he learns the pregnancy was on purpose.
At the hospital, Vicky visits Victor. She crumbles over her situation with JT. Victor assures her it’s not her fault for the way JT treated her. Desperate for comfort, Vicky is on the verge of telling Victor everything…
Back at Jabot, Kyle calls Ashley’s bluff. Right before she can reveal the shameful secret, Jack burst through the door and lets Kyle have it….
