The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) raw breakdown for Thursday, May 17 promise shifting tales and emotional upheaval.
At the cabin, Abby (Melissa Ordway-Gaston) and Arturo wait for Jack (Peter Bergman) to return. The storm is still raging outside, and there is no sign of her uncle.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is pushed to a corner and decides to fight back. She makes a deal with Paul (Doug Davidson) to reveal more about the night JT (Thad Luckinbill) disappeared. Intrigued, Paul takes her offer.
Back at the cabin, the rain has stopped but still no sign of Jack. Arturo and Abby end up in a heated discussion that leads to a startling revelation.
It turns out the handyman looked her up online and learned all about her naked heiress days. Abby is shocked (but secretly delighted).
Across town, Vicky makes a shocking confession to Paul. JT was the one who tried to kill Victor (Eric Braeden). First, he pushed the Newman powerhouse down the stairs, and then, he pulled the plug at the hospital.

Elsewhere, Abby (Melissa Ordway-Gaston) makes a decision. Perhaps Jack went back home. Arturo agrees, and they head back to Genoa City to look for him.
In the meantime, Paul (Doug Davidson) continues grilling Vicky (Amelia Heinle) about JT’s situation. She confides that none of the other women know about her helping him disappear. Paul is dubious.
Fortunately for Vicky, the police chief is done for the day and leaves. He’ll have more questions for her in the morning. Vicky is left feeling more desperate than ever before. Worry consumes her.
Back at the cabin, a disheveled Jack returns. He is bruised and battered.
The next morning, at HW, a beautiful woman arrives to see Devon (Bryton James) for breakfast. Tessa knows about the appointment, but Hilary doesn’t. The mother-to-be is upset and jealous.

At the Abbott house, a generous Arturo visits Abby and gifts her with breakfast. She’s still in her bathrobe but doesn’t mind the company. It’s obvious the two of them are smitten with each other.
At the hotel, Vicky (Amelia Heinle) and Paul (Doug Davidson) continue their discussion about JT’s disappearance. The harried Newman swears she has not spoken to him since that night. Paul is skeptical.
In the meantime, Hilary confronts Devon about his breakfast meeting. Was she a breakfast date or was it work related? His answer shocks her.
Across town, Arturo and Abby are still flirting with each other when the doorbell rings. It’s Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She is beyond shocked by the sight of them together.
Back at HW, Hilary and Tessa catch a glimpse of Devon’s new project. It brings tears to Hilary’s eyes. He is building a dream nursery for their baby.
Back at breakfast, Paul ends the meeting and Vicky is off the hook, for the time being. He assures her he’ll need her help later, and the worried Newman agrees to help.

In the meantime, Abby spills all to Nikki about Arturo’s generous help. Nikki seethes with jealousy, but she manages to keep a lid on her emotions.
Soon after, Arturo excuses himself from the ladies and Nikki decides to walk him out.
As soon as the front door closes, Nikki lashes out at Arturo. He went against her desires, and she is appalled.
Arturo makes a startling claim – Abby is NOT his type! Nikki is stunned.
Back at the cabin, a despondent Jack finally accepts the awful truth. Filled with hurt, Jack decides to fall back into old habits and calls his drug dealer for a fix….
