The Young and the Restless spoilers promise for Thursday, April 25 promise a day of tears when the Winters family and most of Genoa City says goodbye to one of the greats.
Familiar faces travel from far and wide to come together for Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) memorial. He was a Genoa City mainstay and someone no one will forget.
Through (very real) tears, his friends and family bid their final farewell to the man they loved like no other. Malcolm (Shemar Moore) arrives to be by Devon (Bryton James) and Lily’s side and Sofia will bring Neil’s youngest child, Moses, to say goodbye.
Expect a beautiful song from Ana and a powerful sermon from the reverend. Then, the speeches will begin.
Lily (Christel Khalil) stands to give her eulogy and nearly collapses in sorrow, prompting Malcolm to take her place. He remembers his brother with love and expresses his sorrow for not seeing Neil more.
Nate (Sean Dominic) will stand in Olivia’s place and read a sweet letter from her. She reminds everyone to remember Neil’s love just as much as his loss. He loved them all and always put his family first.
Neil’s best friends Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) each say their own piece.
The Newman CEO relays stories of Neil’s first days at NE and Jack remembers all those times Neil saved him.

Hearts are sure to break when Devon (Bryton James) finally stands up. He grew up without a family until Neil took him in. It was through the Winters clan that he finally had people to love him and a place to belong.
Devon’s eulogy prompts Lily to try again twice and, with the help of Cane, she stands in sorrow as the tears stream down her face. He was her dad and the man she loved most in the world. Life will never be the same.
Honestly, watching this hour of television feels like watching real people say goodbye to their friend because that’s exactly what it is.
