At the hospital, Victor wakes up but suddenly has an emergency that forces him onto the operation table. The Newmans, Ashley along with Abby, and other family friends gather while Victor is in surgery. It’s an awkward rally of frienemies.
At dinner, Michael, Lauren, Gloria, and Traci rehash Jack’s situation. Outraged Jack’s bail was denied, the group digest the bad news. They finally conclude Jack couldn’t have done it.
Michael assures Traci it’s not over yet. He’ll do whatever he can to get Jack out.
At the jail, Kyle visits his father, and he has several quetions for Jack.

After a bit, Hilary breaks down and makes a heartfelt plea to Lily. She has three beautiful children to love, care, and be with. Hilary has nothing. Lily doesn’t buy it, and it keeps the door locked.
After some time, Devon arrives and chastises Lily and Cane for holding Hilary hostage. He is fuming and tells them off. It was not what they had expected. Hilary is crushed, and Devon comforts her.
At the jail, Kyle takes the opportunity to bash Jack. He accuses his father of scheming against Ashley, his own company, and his son! It falls on death ears.
Jack wants answers, and he doesn’t buy Kyle’s rant that he’s back in town to visit. The Abbott businessman knows there’s more to the story then his son is letting on.
At the hospital, Billy updates the family about Jack’s arrest. Everyone is shocked except for JT who feels Jack has probable cause.

At the jail, Kyle continues his unrelenting attack on Jack. Finally, Jack realizes Kyle is brewing an evil scheme against him. Kyle confirms it and leaves. Jack goes into panic mode.
At the hospital, Ashley and Abby learn the truth about Jack’s paternity!
