The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Monday, July 22 reveal a day of twists and turns that could destroy the Newman family. Nick and Adam meet with the judge and Victor shocks his wife.
I’m Out!
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) thought he was saving his brother but all he did was hurt both of them. Adam (Mark Grossman) has dirt on everyone in town and uses it for all it’s worth. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) continues to slave away doing Adam’s bidding and Michael has to do the unthinkable, bow out as Nick’s attorney.
Poor Michael sits Nick (Joshua Morrow) down and breaks the bad news. He comes up with a flimsy cover story that everyone sees through.
His wife is on high alert and calls the boys out on their bad behavior. However, he sticks to his guns and back away. Nick will have to find a new lawyer or represent himself.
Exposed!
Nick decides to go it alone in a stunning move no one sees coming. This is not his first rodeo in family court. In fact, he is quite the seasoned vet. If anyone can pull this off, it’s Nick, right? Wrong. Very, very wrong.
Spoilers tease Nick grossly underestimates Adam. He has tricks up his sleeve. He drops the mother of all bombshells and it rocks Nick’s world. Nick thought he had Adam under control but everything goes wrong right before his very eyes.

Back at Crimson Lights, Lauren (Tracey. E Bregman) connects with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). They talk about Kevin, Michael, and most of all Adam. How can Phyllis work for the devil? Why not? Someone has to do it.

Meanwhile, at a resort far, far away, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have a talk. He sits his wife down and drops a shocker on her.
He wants to stop his treatments, at least for a little while. Yes, he is sick but he can not continue on like this. He can not stand losing so much of himself.
Can Nikki talk him out of such drastic measures? She loves Victor and a few months of slips and memory lapses are way better than losing his life.
