The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) raw breakdown for Friday, May 18 promise shocking admissions and heartbreaking acceptance. Get ready for an emotional episode.
At home, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are in bed discussing their relationship and all its perks. It’s wonderful and they love it, but they can’t stay in bed all morning.
There is a big event to attend and they have to get ready.
Over at Jabot, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) alerts Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to Victoria’s antics. She made a confession to Paul (Doug Davidson)! However, Nikki needs to take care of her daughter because the redhead has more pressing issues at Jabot. It’s imperative she locates her ex-husband before he spirals out of control!
At the cabin, Jack’s situation is bad. He is teetering on the edge of a full meltdown. Suddenly, a realization washes over Jack. He knows he needs help and makes a phone call.
At HW, Hilary approaches Devon, elated with his new project. However, his reaction shocks her.
Back at Jabot, Phyllis alerts Billy that Jack must be in trouble. If they don’t get to him soon, it will get worse! However, before they can help Jack, Billy wants Phyllis to help him. He needs….continue reading on the next page —->

In the meantime, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) finally ready themselves for the evening festivities.
Over at Jabot, Phyllis isn’t thrilled but she agrees to do it for Billy (Jason Thompson). He wants her to attend the New Hope Fundraising Event and represent Jabot. Everyone will be there including Nikki, Sharon, and Vicky!
Back at the cabin, Neil arrives to see a battered and bruised Jack on the edge of his sanity. His dear friend is in need of help and he is ready to provide it.
Elsewhere, the fundraising event is in full swing and Nikki takes the opportunity to play matchmaker for Nick. Nick doesn’t resist Nikki’s attempts and allows his mother to do her thing. Sharon watches from afar, less than thrilled by Nikki’s actions.
Back at the cabin, Jack pours his heart out to Neil (Kristoff St. John). His entire life has crumbled and what he’s known is not the reality he lives with now. It’s a crushing admission and it breaks Neil’s heart to see his friend broken and in despair.
Back at the fundraising event, Nick is deep in conversation with the lady Nikki has introduced him to. He notices Sharon watching him from across the table.
A few chairs down, Hilary and Devon talk babies and Hilary is pleasantly surprised!
A short time later, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon, and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) gather to rehash Victoria’s ‘confession’ to Paul (Doug Davidson).

The women are shocked by Vicky’s admission, but Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) defends her daughter and reiterates it was the only thing Vicky could do, faced with the obstacles she did. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case) are skeptical.
They decide to get back to the fundraising dinner before they start looking suspicious. Once back, Nick excuses himself and leaves, with Sharon following closely behind.
In the meantime, Hilary shares wonderful news with Phyllis – Devon seems to be warming up to her and the baby. He is planning a grand nursery already!
Back at the cabin, Jack refuses to stop wallowing in his despair and lashes out at Neil.
If the drugs can’t help him, who and what can? Jack decides to take the pills and Neil is adamant – if his friend is going to take drugs, deal him in.
Across town, Sharon and Nick are back home. They rehash the evenings events and Nick makes a jaw-dropping decision. He wants to end their special friendship. Sharon is shocked to her core!
Back at the fundraiser event, Hilary and Devon decide to make the most of their festive evening.
Back at the cabin, Jack refuses to do as Neil says. Eventually, he leaves Jack alone. With no one left to help him, Jack makes a decision.
