The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday April 20 focus on familial turmoil for the Abbotts and the Newmans.
At the hospital, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is lecturing Victor (Eric Braeden) about his premature release from the hospital. The husband and wife have a back and forth until they’re interrupted by Victor’s mistress, Helen. She’s there to take him home.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) urges Sharon (Sharon Case) to keep Nick distracted while she takes care of JT business. She needs time to sort through everything. Suddenly, Nick calls Sharon. He wants to meet her at Chancellor Park to discuss business.
Over at the Abbott house, Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Abby (Melissa Ordway-Gaston) discuss Kyle’s slimy scheme. Abby is worried Kyle is in over his head, but Jack feels differently. However, before they can discuss the matter more, Kyle appears!
Elsewhere, Cane and Lily enjoy a romantic dinner.
Back at the hospital, Nikki’s claws are out. Seething with jealousy, she attacks Helen. Victor stops Nikki and questions her. Where was she on the night JT attacked him?
In the meantime, a panicked Phyllis and Sharon knock heads about why Nick chose Chancellor Park for the meeting. Finally, Sharon goes off to met Nick. What he wants shocks her!

Back at the Abbott house, Kyle reveals his reason for visiting. He wants to live with them. Everyone is shocked by the request until Dina interrupts the conversation.
Over at the hospital, Nikki defends herself and attempts to distract Victor from the question. However, he gets right to the nitty-gritty: who is her lover? She refuses to answer the question.
Elsewhere, the Abbotts (sans Kyle) discuss his request to live with them. They decide it’s better to have the enemy close, so they allow him to live there.
Back at Crimson Lights, a relieved Sharon (Sharon Case) is back (with Nick following closely behind). She updates Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about his plans for Chancellor Park. Nick wants a vegetable garden right on the spot where JT was buried.
Thrilled to hear the news, the redhead’s overeager attitude strikes Nick with suspicion.
A short time later, Nick (Joshua Morrow) alerts the women he wants to stop by the police station before heading home. They panic! After he leaves, Phyllis demands Sharon start pulling her weight and help them more in covering JT’s tracks.
Elsewhere, Abby and Ashley prepare for another videotaping session. Charlie arrives to help Abby, alarming Ashley.
She doesn’t want to risk Dina making another explosive claim, or having Charlie see the footage of her shell-shocking paternity admission.
The mother and daughter agree to make the evidence disappear – forever.
At the Ranch, Jack arrives to have a moment with Victor. He is shocked to see Helen and Nikki and immediately rips them for ‘spying’ on him.

Elsewhere, the day is winding down at Sharon’s house. Dinner is done, the kids are in bed, and Nick takes the opportunity to confess.
At Chancellor Park, Cane and Lily wrap up their date night. They mull over JT’s last words to Cane. The more they discuss the topic, the more suspicious Lily becomes. Little do they know, JT is just a few feet from them.
Back at the Abbott house, Kyle is happily making himself at home. He comes upon Abby and Ashley gazing at the fire. The pair is startled by his sudden appearance but manages to distract him.

Furious at being talked about like a piece of meat, Nikki lashes out at Jack. Victor says nothing. Eventually, Jack leaves, but not before issuing a stern warning to Victor.
In the meantime, Sharon takes Phyllis words to heart and moves in to distract Nick…
Elsewhere, Kyle snoops around the fireplace. He digs around and recovers the disk.
