The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, March 22 reveal an emotionally and mentally frail Vicky is falling deeper into JT’s manipulations.
At Vicky’s house, JT releases his chokehold on Victoria. She makes a makes a mad dash upstairs and locks herself in the bathroom fearing for her life.
JT follows and tries to explain himself, but a terrified Vicky can’t shake the horrifying experience. She tells him to leave; it’s the only way to stop the abuse. He refuses and settles down, ready to do what it takes to get her to fold.
At the Abbott house, Abby welcomes Jack back from his Paris trip. Shortly after, Ashley appears with her welcome home present: court documents suing him for defamation!
Jack protests the lawsuit claiming it’s a sham. Ashley defends herself, but Dina interrupts everyone.
Jack rushes over to greet her, but Dina is so far gone, she thinks he is John and rips him for leaving her with the kids. Jack soothes things over and sends her away.
As soon as she is out of sight, he charges at Ashley and Abby claiming they’re not adequately caring for Dina.
The mother and daughter defend themselves but Jack doesn’t have time to go on the offensive, he has a meeting.
At the Ranch, Jack, Nikki, Nick, Devon, and Sharon gather to talk about the new project. Suddenly, Victor appears, none too happy about the meeting and seeing Jack in his living room.
At Vicky’s house, she checks out the injury, and it’s awful. She tries to hide it with concealer and finally gives up. After a time, Vicky opens the door and goes down to confront JT.

She tells the truth: He has been mentally, emotionally, and now physically abusive. Before she can go further, Reed comes through the door. The awkward silence between his parents has Reed concerned, but his more significant concern is being able to stay over at a friend’s house.
Back at the Ranch, Victor pulls Nikki aside and chastises her for entering a partnership with Jack. Not only is he upset she is forming an organization with Jack, but he had asked her prior that he’d help her, and she refused.
Nikki does damage control and adds him to the board. Everyone is surprised by the news but continues the planning for the nonprofit.
shortly after, Nikki also introduces everyone to the person who will head the construction of the projects., Arturo.
Nick takes Nikki aside and warns her about having Arturo around Victor.
Back at the Abbott house, Abby settles down to record more of Dina’s memories about Ashely (with Ashley right there).
She recalls a beautiful memory about Ashley and Jack. It touches Ashley to tears. Sadly, Dina still does not know who Ashley is and rips her for interrupting and crying during the session.
Back at Vicky’s house, a dejected Victoria complies will all of Reeds requests sending a happy Reed packing his bag. JT knows he is a winner and dives in for the kill.
After the meeting, Sharon and Nick return home. He comes upon her looking at rentals and thinks it’s for Mariah, but Sharon tells Nick it’s for him.
Nick is shocked! Sharon takes that opportunity to explain to Nick their situation is complicated, but Nick pushes her concerns aside.
After Reed leaves, JT grovels some more at Vicky’s feet. Vicky doesn’t seem convinced at his sincerity, so JT pulls out his worse manipulation: he asks Vicky to marry him. She accepts!
Back at the Ranch, Victor goes for the kill and clashes with Jack about his underhanded plots against Ashley and Vicky! It nearly comes to blows if Nikki’s lover didn’t hold Jack back!
