The Young and the Restless Spoilers
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Paul having his work cut out for him. His lead detective betrayed him once and it looks like he may still be up to no good!
Always the good guy, Paul (Doug Davidson) stops by the apartment to speak to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Kicking the detective off the force was not an easy decision but what else could he do? Rey betrayed his badge, betrayed the PD, and betrayed Paul.
Paul is a reasonable man and after some serious thought sees he may have acted hastily. He is willing to open the door to Rey coming back on the force, but with one major condition.
The detective has to solve his sister’s case. It going cold and they can not let that happen. Lola almost died and they need to find the attacker.
Paul sits Rey down to go over all the details and clues they know so far. It is clear Lola (Sasha Calle) was never the target so they must figure out who went after Abby. It shouldn’t be too hard, right?
Sure, she is a Newman and an Abbott but not too many people have it out for her. The list is short and starts with Rey’s wife!
True to his word to Mia, Rey covers for her. He even gives her a fake alibi her by opening up to Paul about her affair.
Mia couldn’t have done it because she was with Arturo (sure, Rey) so they need to look at other options. Rey seems convincing, but is Paul convinced?

Could it be Paul has already figured out this case? It sure sounds like it. This could be the ultimate test to see if Rey will come clean and side with justice or continue covering up the truth about his soon-to-be ex-wife.
Rey better watch himself because this is a make it or break it moment for his career in Genoa City.
He has two choices. He can turn in Mia and make her pay for attacking his little sister or keep up the lie and risk it all.
