The Young and the Restless Spoilers: A Power Player Takes Control

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 7, 2019, has Nikki stepping up to take over when no one else is available, and Billy suffers through a horrific dreamscape.

Nikki To the Rescue!
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has been through a lot, from an abusive father to a career as a stripper, to multiple marriages to Victor (Eric Braeden), and his less than ideal parenting of Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). But now Nikki is fighting the greatest enemy of all: Victor’s mortality.

Nate’s (Sean Dominic) treatment for Victor’s unnamed mystery disease is causing side-effects like memory lapses meaning that running the family is going to fall on Nikki. She’s going to need to make all the decisions that he made in the past. Then, Victor will probably mumble, “You got that?” to make sure that everybody… got that.

Dream a Little Dream
Ever since Adam (Mark Grossman) came back from the dead, Billy (Jason Thompson) has been having trouble sleeping. And it’s getting worse. He’s seeing things- like Adam based graffiti. He’s hearing things – like a ghostly Delia laughing.

He’s falling asleep at his house and waking up at Jill’s (Jess Walton). And he’s finding Delia’s doll… where Delia’s doll should not be.

He’s also drinking. That’s not a good move for anyone. But especially not for someone with as addictive of a personality as Billy. Sharon (Sharon Case) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have tried to reach out to him, but Billy is pushing everyone away and continuing his downward spiral. Has he hit rock bottom, or is there further down for Billy to fall? And who is doing this to him? And why?
