Nikki’s Falling Apart
JT’s memorial hits Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) harder than anyone ever expected, even Mrs. Newman herself.

Watching her grandson honor the man she killed nearly has her confessing her sin right then and there. She doesn’t, but that doesn’t mean she won’t.

After the short and explosive service (which includes a volatile display by Phyllis laying JT’s abusive behavior for all to see), she’s taken home. The ranch has been a source of much comfort and much horror in the last few months, and today will be no different.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) leaves his mother to start a fire and relax but doesn’t even get to the door before he hears a blood-curdling scream. On the floor, right in front of the fireplace, is the murder weapon!

Nikki Spills Her Secret
The bloody fire poker has haunted Nikki’s dreams so seeing it in her home is a living nightmare! She simply can’t take the stress, the setups, and the horror for one more minute! She breaks down and confesses the truth to her stunned son!

This bombshell will blindside Nick. It’s a shocking moment that’ll change his whole life and drag him into the whole mess.

What Will Nick Do? 
How will he deal with his mother’s secret? Nick would have no problem turning his father in but his mom is a different story.
