The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 8 reveal what happens the day after an aborted wedding and a night where nothing goes right.
Summer’s dealing with the consequences of her actions the morning after hitting the sheets with Billy, Sharon finds a hunky shoulder to cry on, and Ashley may be starting her celebration a little too early.
Waking Up
Billy (Jason Thompson) was so mad at Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) for sleeping with Nick (Joshua Morrow) that he first dumped her, then high-tailed it straight to Summer (Hunter King) with a proposition:
Hey, you spent most of the summer trying to sleep with me. Want to sleep with me now?
Uh… sure, Summer responded, and off went their clothes, back went the blankets, sizzle went the sheets.
But now it’s the morning after, and Summer’s eyes are fully open – if somewhat bleary. What has she done? And how will her mother react?

With Sharon a mess after ending it with Nick once again, she might just say too much. Rey did say she’s the weakest link.
Celebration, Come On!
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is on top of the world! Things with Neil (Kristoff St. John) are going well.
Billy is out as CEO of Jabot, Traci (Beth Maitland) is in, and so it’s only a matter of time before the blood Abbot clause is removed and Ashley is back at the head of her family company.
But, maybe she should hold off pouring that champagne for the time being. Remember Andrew the chemist?
Andrew knows something about Ashley. And, if Ashley doesn’t pay off Andrew, he plans to make sure Kyle (Michael Mealor) knows it, too.
