Mad Max’s young life is about to take a turn for the worse. According to “Young and the Restless Spoilers,” he’s shipped off to a children’s psych ward with no release date in sight.
Poor Stitch (Sean Carrigan) has no option but to say goodbye to his son and watch him be carted off to a long-term care facility for troubled children. Daddy’s protests are meaningless as the medical team make their final decision.
Young Max (Jared Breeze) is a child on the edge and thankfully his hospital evaluation reveals he needs more than just outpatient care. The doctors are afraid if he goes home he’ll be a bigger danger than before. He’s already killed his little sister, set a dangerous fire, and went to the extreme to cover his tracks. He’s too angry to be anywhere near Abby (Melissa Ordway Gaston) and they fear for her safety.

Is this what Max needs to get better? He’s full of deep-seeded anger and rage and needs to learn how to cope with his mother’s loss. He’s more than any parent can handle on their own. The boy needs a professional and that’s what he’s going to get.
What does this mean for Stitch and Abby? Will their marriage get back on track now that Max is out of the way or will the new situation drive a wedge between them that can’t be fixed?
