The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, October 22 reveal a day of heartbreak and bad decisions.
Phyllis gravitates back towards Jack, Nick is convinced Rey is up to something, and Mariah faces danger! You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode.
Bad Boy Alert
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was forced to listen while Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) made witty banter about Rey’s mattress purchasing, so he promptly decided that Rey was up to no good.
(The fact that earlier he’d caught the pair covered in whipped cream didn’t help.)
Nick asked Abby (Melissa Ordway) to find out about the bad blood between Rey and Arturo (Jason Canela). But that’s not enough, so the chip off the old Vic sets out to learn more.
Danger, Mariah, Danger!
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) sure were chill on their date the other night, considering that Tessa allegedly owes a very large sum of money to some very bad people.
Looks like her low monthly payments on her little installment plan aren’t enough, as Mariah stumbles into a dangerous situation, which sure seems connected to Tessa.
Then again, remember when Tessa was “attacked” a few weeks ago at the coffee house, then wiped the tapes that showed whodunit? This feels a lot like that.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was married to Jack (Peter Bergman) when she had an affair with Billy (Jason Thompson). She left Jack for Billy and couldn’t stop talking about how happy and destined they were.
But then Billy fell back into gambling, Phyllis slept with Nick, Sharon found out about it, Billy dumped Phyllis, slept with Summer (Hunter King), and rubbed both women’s faces in it.
Which means Phyllis is single again. Phyllis hates that. Oh, look, who’s that over there? Is it Jack? Jack is single again! Hi, there, Jack, Phyllis says…
Still… oh, Phyllis, Jack is going to have a very busy week discovering a very big secret… and then trying to cover it up.
