Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) has a plan for defending Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon (Sharon Case).

It involves them sitting down, shutting up, and not saying a word even to their own defense. But of course, they don’t want to. They shut up for a long time already and are over it.

They’ve also already lied so many times, Michael fears Christine (Lauralee Bell) will tear them to shreds. And he’s most likely right.

Billy (Jason Thompson) thinks Victoria should be allowed to talk about JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) abuse. It will make her more sympathetic.

Nikki feels the same about explaining how she was protecting her daughter. Surely, all parents on the jury will understand. Sharon is… we’re not sure what Sharon thinks.

Maybe she’s still hoping Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) out of nowhere “I love you,” will come to the rescue. She doesn’t know that Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) is currently counting on the same thing. And she’s got a supposed bun in the oven to bolster her case!

Tessa destroyed the video, but Nick fears it might still be found. And it can be used to prove their guilt, especially the part where they paid a blackmailer to keep it a secret.

Nick warns Mariah to think harder about her romantic choices, then sends her on her way.

But Mariah isn’t ready to give up. She whines to Nick that she can’t eat or sleep, worrying about Sharon – and Tessa.

And so Mariah decides to take matters into her own hands. She makes a move that Mariah believes will prove helpful. Just how often is Mariah right about things like these?
