The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, March 18 reveal a day of secret plans and secret schemes. But it’s all for the greater good, right?
The men of Genoa City band together to save the women… though they have different opinions on how to accomplish that. You won’t want to miss a moment of this action-packed episode.
Doing It Old School
When Victor (Eric Braeden) heard that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon (Sharon Case) had been convicted of murdering JT (Thad Luckinbill), he knew what he needed to do.
The same thing all rich people do when they’re caught dead to rights and even their highly-paid lawyers can, at best, reduce the sentence, not wipe the entire slate clean.
Victor reached out to the governor of Wisconsin. He presumably reminded his honor of how rich Victor is. And how much money Victor has donated to his campaign.
And how, as a result, Victor has already been forgiven a whole host of crimes. So what’s one more favor for the little woman? And the Newman heir.
And oh, what the heck, also for whatshername… Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) mother. That’s a good governor….
New Technologies
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Billy (Jason Thompson), on the other hand, are younger. They put their faith not in easily-bought politicians, but in technology. Science, research, all that CSI stuff.

They tell Nikki, Victoria, and Sharon that they’ve reached out to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and shared their theory about JT (Thad Luckinbill) still being alive. They want Rey to investigate.
After all, if JT is alive, the women can’t very well be convicted of killing him, can they?
Sure, they still hit him over the head, wrapped him a carpet, dumped him in a shallow grave, threw dirt over his face and left him to rot. But they didn’t kill him.
Nick and Billy will do their best to produce JT. Victor’s money can take care of the rest.
