The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a rough road ahead for the all mighty Newman clan. The sketchy “confession tape” has Christine practically drooling and Michael warns his client this won’t end well — as he begs for any info to help give him a stronger case.
No Regrets?
Well, it looks like Sharon (Sharon Case) completely screwed over Victor (Eric Braeden) by handing over the email. There’s no way to refute the recording and now the Newmans will be in the courtroom sooner than expected.
Oh sure, she claims she had no choice but we all know that isn’t true. She could have deleted it and covered it up, but for some reason (or all the reasons) she decided to let Victor take the fall.
Victor’s Fate Is All But Sealed!
And fall he will – at least that’s what Michael says. The legal eagle is on the case and it doesn’t look good. Christine’s (Lauralee Bell) out for blood and the audio gives her everything she needs to put The Great Victor Newman away for good.
Unless, of course, there’s more to the story they aren’t sharing with their lawyer. He needs to provide doubt to a jury and “someone’s out to get Victor” just isn’t a reasonable cover story.
Michael warns the Newmans to get Victor’s affairs and business in order. Chances are he’s looking at hard time and may not be home for years!
Who Will Go Down?
It looks like it’ll be up to the family to save themselves and their patriarch. They’re running out of time, running out of lies, and running out of damage control options.
One of them will have to take the fall. Someone must come forward and confess to this sin or Victor will be stuck in an orange jumpsuit for decades.
It’s enough to push Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) over the edge, but how far? Will this be what forces her to finally tell the truth? (She hit JT with that poker on April 16, 2018. Let’s wrap this up, folks.)
