The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the more Nikki’s health declines, the worse Reed feels.
His guilt spirals out of control and he takes to his grandma’s bedside to hope, pray, and confess!
On the Brink Of Death
The walls close in on Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) when word comes in about Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) worsening condition.
Nate (Brooks Darnell) warns the matriarch is near death and it’ll take a miracle to save her. Much like with Hilary, he’s out of options and out of time. (He’s a GREAT doctor!)
Obviously, none of the Newmans will take the news well, but Reed takes it the worst. It was bad enough knowing he’s the reason Nikki’s in the hospital, never mind her dying!
It’s time for Reed to speak up, and he will. But, it won’t be in a way that could get him in trouble.
Reed Fesses Up
Reed takes to Nikki’s bedside and pours out his stunning confession. He admits the accident was his fault.
Not only should he have stayed off the roads, but he certainly shouldn’t have driven. The worst part was being too scared to get out of the car and see the damage he did. Instead, he drove away and tried to put the mess behind him.
Keep tissues close because the rest of his time with Nikki will be a tear jerker. He compares himself to his homicidal father. JT tried to kill Victor and he almost took out his own grandma. Little does Reed know his grandma is also his dad’s murderer.
Once Is Not Enough
They say confession is good for the soul but is Reed doing enough? Sure, telling Nikki could somewhat clear his conscious but no one else knows.
The family will still hunt for her attacker and the longer he hides the truth, the worse this situation becomes. Perhaps he should speak to someone who can actually hear him.
