The Young and the Restless Spoilers, Friday, July 12: An Adam Set Up?

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Adam’s obsession with Chelsea and Connor taking another dark turn — and perhaps his darkest one yet as Adam is more ruthless than he’s ever been.

He wants his family back but if he can’t have both, he’ll at least take his son — at all costs! Set your DVR’s so you don’t miss a moment of this shocking scheme!

Adam (Mark Grossman) knows Paul (Doug Davidson) is looking into Calvin’s murder and he thinks he can help things along. Remember that argument Adam had with Chlesa the night of Calvin’s death? Well, as it turns out he got it all on tape. And, he takes the recording right to Paul!

What does it really prove, though? It may seem insignificant to some but to Paul, this is serious evidence. It gives Chelsea a motive to kill her man. Sure, it’s not proof but it could point him in Chelsea’s direction.

Oh, yeah, it’s a good day to be Adam. He put Chelsea in the spotlight and is one step closer to getting his boy back. Adam’s on cloud nine by the time he gets to the office and brags about his major feat.

Unfortunately, Adam’s plan falls completely apart when the autopsy comes in. Murder is not on the radar anymore.

The coroner report states Calvin died quite innocently of a heart attack. Chelsea’s older man had a bad ticker and it took him out in his sleep. Whew, right? What a relief. Spoilers reveal Chelsea is darn near elated to hear the news.

In fact, Paul even warns Chelsea to stay away from Adam at all costs, telling her Adam doesn’t have her best interests at heart.

But is the report right? Is Paul lying to Chelsea to throw her off his investigation? Did Chelsea stage the murder to look like a heart attack?
