Brand-new The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 18 promise good news on several fronts! Grab a snack and get ready to enjoy another great episode!
A Break in the Case
Dylan (Steve Burton) has been working tirelessly to clear Adam’s (Justin Hartley) name. He’s bent the rules, and it got him fired from his job by his own father. But, thanks to a break from Kevin (okay, really Victor’s doing but let’s not quibble), Dylan thinks they’ve found the evidence they’ve been looking for. He and Paul (Doug Davidson) find more clues in Brittany’s (Chrishell Stause) apartment, which leads them to believe they have enough to get the ball rolling on Adam’s release. A pleased Dylan delivers the unexpected news to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
Through the Ringer
Jack (Peter Bergman) has been going through hell these last few months thanks to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). No matter what he does, it seems to be the wrong move and he gets in more trouble. It does seem to bring him closer to his sister Ashley (Eileen Davidson), who feels for him and understands his helplessness. She goes to Phyllis and tries to give her advice on how to mend things with Jack. Meanwhile, unable to help himself, Jack demands Victor (Eric Braeden) stay away from his wife.
Brokering Peace
Billy (Jason Thompson) is in the doghouse as far as Jill (Jess Walton) is concerned, and he knows he has to do something to get back in her good graces. He doesn’t want to fight with her and tries to figure out what he can do to fix things. Then, it comes to him. He decides he has to make peace with her golden boy, Cane (Daniel Goddard). He sets out to do just that – will he succeed?
