The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Devon Starts Life Anew…Or Does He?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease a big twist is coming Devon’s way. He has it in his head he’s ready to take on the world but an odd event will leave him reeling.

Devon (Bryton James) used to have it all. He was rich (well, he’s still rich), had the woman of his dreams, a baby on the way, and a family who loved him.

Now, Hilary is gone, their baby with her, his father passed away, and his older sister jumped the GC ship. It is a lot to take, but if anyone can bounce back, it’s Devon.

Just days after the latest tragedy, Devon throws himself back into real life. He’s ready to pick up the pieces, slap a smile on his face, and see where fate takes him.

It’s a bold move and one a lot of people will not see coming — least of all Elena. She just wants to be his friend and is surprised to see how easily he puts on a happy face.

Finishing their date is first on his list. He cannot wait to take her out (dressed down this time) and get to know her better without Ana or Jett in the way.

She seems like a great person and that is just what she needs. A shoulder to lean on, a new best friend, and someone with a soft heart. After all, she just let him cry after everyone left the day of Neil’s funeral.

Unfortunately, Devon may be moving way too fast for his own good. In the middle of their date, he starts seeing his ex’s face. Not just anywhere, either.

He envisions Hilary sitting across from him smiling and laughing at his jokes. He’s taken away for a moment, confusing Elena.

Talk about awkward! Hilary was the love of Devon’s life and while he’s not trying to forget, he is trying to move on. Can he even begin to go forward with Hilary’s spirit haunting his soul?

Devon may want to consider getting more professional help. White knuckling all these losses are taking a toll and it looks like it may get worse before it gets any better.
