The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chelsea STUNS Nick

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 12 reveal Chelsea doing strange things and Nick wanting to know why. But, shouldn’t he be used to Chelsea doing strange things by now?

After Chelsea brought Connor over to visit Adam – and decided to spend the night. Nick wants to know why — while Adam is surprised by a restraining order.

Why Ask Why?
When Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) first left Genoa City, she was running away from the truth of her stealing money from Lauren (Tracey Bregman) — and Christian’s paternity. (Plus, there was the whole knocking Sharon over the head thing.)

When Nick (Joshua Morrow) first asked Chelsea to return to town, she claimed to be afraid of Adam (Mark Grossman) and what his return from the dead would do to Connor (Judah Mackey).

She eventually did come back but kept claiming how scared she was and how she didn’t want her son anywhere around his father.

However, all it took was for Connor to pout and tug on Mama’s heartstrings about how he didn’t have a daddy anymore — sads emoji — and the seasoned con-woman instantly cracked and brought Connor to Adam’s. Where she also decided to spend the night.

Now, Nick would like to know why. And she better have a really good answer…that doesn’t include forgetting everything Adam has done to date.

Meanwhile, Adam receives a court order. And there are so many candidates who could have sent it! Sharon (Sharon Case), who deeply, deeply regrets sleeping with Adam – and letting Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) catch them together.

Nick, who needs some leverage against the assault charges Adam filed. Also, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), who doesn’t think Adam’s threats were idle.

Then, there’s Billy (Jason Thompson), who believes Delia is sending him messages from beyond the grave to “stop” the man who killed her. (Doesn’t Connor have Delia’s corneas? How long before Billy wants to “see” through his daughter’s eyes?)

Or could it be the mysterious Chance Chancellor? Nah, it’s Victor (Eric Braeden), reminding his boys who is really in charge. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
