The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 29 promise the past meeting the present — and the future — in Genoa City.
Nick and Chelsea make plans for a new life together… as she meets up with a familiar face from her past. Meanwhile, Rey confronts Adam over Sharon, and Michael sinks to his nemesis’ level.
Where Do We Go From Here?
With Christian living at Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow) has lots of time to think about what he’s going to do next. And whether that involves Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).
Chelsea has been given a direct order by Victor (Eric Braeden) – bring Connor back to Genoa City! As what? A Christian replacement? Or maybe he just wants all his grandchildren around while he thinks he’s dying.
So while the two of them ponder their future, Monday is the perfect time for Chelsea to come face to face with her past- in the form of Dynasty (and Santa Barbara, and Sunset Beach) alum, Gordon Thomson. What does he know, when did he know it… and how will this affect the Newman family?
The Girl Is Mine
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) was so upset over Sharon’s (Sharon Case) ongoing attachment to Adam (Mark Grossman), that he walk out even while claiming he loved her.
Now Rey wants Adam to know how upset Rey is. The two men nearly come to blows, leading Rey to a decision that might make getting rid of Adam easier– get the law on your side!

Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) sent Kevin (Greg Rikaart), Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Bella into hiding, and now he’s free to bring down Adam without fear of his brother’s family being hurt.
But taking down a guy like Adam means sinking to his level. It means bringing out the old Michael, the one who did time in prison, and asked things like, “Scruples, what are those?”
