The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, April 26 promise a continuation the celebration of Neil’s life as everyone retires to Devon’s for food and memories.
The Women’s Hour
Except for daughter Lily (Christel Khalil), everyone who spoke at Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) memorial service was a man. (Nate reading a letter from Olivia doesn’t count.) But the women of Genoa City were just as important in Neil’s life.
He and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) were in the off phase of their on-again/off-again relationship that very well could have continued if she hadn’t moved to Paris.
Neil and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) had an intense romantic relationship. He was there for her when she lost her newborn daughter, Eve.
Neil was also there for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) as she battled alcoholism. He saved her life, too… not just Jack’s.
The women were, for some reason, kept from speaking at church. But, nothing will stop them from speaking afterward.
Try To Remember
Malcolm (Shemar Moore) returned for his brother’s funeral. He offered support to Lily about her dad… as everyone pointedly ignored the reality of him being Lily’s biological father.
But with tensions high and nerves frayed, will some of those repressed feelings rise to the surface?
Missing Mama
Will we see flashbacks of a young Neil and Neil through the years? Or, will those be reserved for the special episode coming with actors breaking character to talk about Kristoff St. John?
And the Rest
Billy (Jason Thompson) came to support Victoria. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) reconnected with Malcolm. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) came together.
They were all polite during the service. But putting those four in a room is never a good idea. Will Neil’s death trigger their worst impulses?
