The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal heartbreak and tears all around as the Winters family and their friends say goodbye to Neil. It’s a difficult day for everyone, but nobody seems to have a harder time than Lily.
As the funeral service begins, Ana (Loren Lott) sings a lovely rendition of Amazing Grace and then the reverend says a few words.
He then asks Neil’s daughter to walk up and eulogize her father, but Lily (Christel Khalil) can barely make it to the podium before breaking down.
She says she just can’t do it, so Malcolm (Shemar Moore) takes her place and moves everyone to tears. Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) friends also say a few words, including Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden), but Lily knows she must say something.

And, indeed she is. Through …continue reading on the next page —>
And, indeed she is. Through tears and sobs, Lily talks about her mother’s death and how her father was always there — something she knew she could count on no matter what.
She speaks of his selflessness when he picked up his life and moved closer to the prison where she was being held so she could have him there each visiting day and not feel she was drowning in loneliness and sorrow.
It’s a fitting tribute to an amazing father and an amazing man we’re left with the feeling that everything has changed in Genoa City forever.
