The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, April 29 promise a very special episode as actors step out of character and offer their heartfelt — and unscripted — tributes to actor Kristoff St. John.
From the Heart, Not the Script
On Thursday and Friday, featured multiple eulogies for Neil, as well as his friends and family looking back at his life.
Victor (Eric Braeden), Jack (Peter Bergman), Cane (Daniel Goddard), Malcolm (Shemar Moore), Devon (Bryton James), and Lily (Christel Khalil) spoke. Their words were beautiful, meaningful…and scripted. They were poetry, but they were said by imaginary people about an imaginary person.
Not so on Monday. On Monday, Moore, James, and Khalil, along with Joshua Morrow (Nick), Victoria Rowell (Dru), and more share real thoughts and feelings about a real person.
They’ll recall off-screen moments, pull out the personal photos, and tear up – not because a script calls for it.
Expect to also see others, including Eileen Davidson, Jess Walton, and Mishael Morgan share heartfelt memories of the actor and describe their storylines and first time they met.
Flashbacks are also the name of the game as we remember Neil’s relationships with Malcolm, Devon, Lily, and Drucilla. Having Victoria Rowell on hand to talk about Neil and Dru is going to be a very special treat.
And Now Back To Our Story
Life in Genoa City will stop for the day. But then it will return. There’s a lot that needs to happen.
Victor (Eric Braeden) needs …continue reading on the next page —>
Victor (Eric Braeden) needs to explain his mysterious disappearances. Sharon (Sharon Case) has a confrontation with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) on the agenda. Kyle (Michael Mealor) has a wife he wants to divorce to cheat on. Abby (Melissa Ordway) needs to move on.
And then there’s the Winters-Hamilton-Ashby family. They need to start putting the pieces back together. Cane is still insistent on winning back Lily. And Devon is processing Neil’s loss on top of Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan). Will Elena (Brytni Sharpy) be the one to help him heal?
But don’t forget to tune in for this one of a kind tribute done in such a unique and beautiful way… and get the tissues ready!
