The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Thursday, August 2 reveal one family trying to make up while another falls apart.
Searching For Answers
Summer’s (Hunter King) on a mission to dig up dirt on her mother so she grills her dad for answers.
She’s barking up the wrong tree as Nick is (Joshua Morrow) as tight-lipped as Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and shuts his daughter down. Whatever is going on with Phyllis is her business and he tells Summer to stay out of it.
A Peace Offering
Thankfully, Nick won’t be in the hot seat long. Summer, along with Nikki and Victoria, are summoned to the club for a meeting with Victor (Eric Braeden).
The meeting will leave them all puzzled, especially when the subject of the meeting doesn’t seem to be about a new revenge plot. The Mustache simply wants to thank the ladies who’ve stuck by his side and toast them – especially Victoria.
Victor Demands Answers
The dinner takes a bit of a twist when the younger ladies leave. Victor wants to take a stroll through Chancellor park and honor his wife’s hard work.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) adamantly refuses and says she’s tired. Victor won’t buy it. He knows something is up and he wants to know what!
Family First
Later, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) make amends when they run into each other at Crimson Lights.
The siblings may be on opposite sides but they know that family comes first. Could their treaty …continue reading on the next page —>
The Whole Truth
Back at Devon’s (Bryton James) penthouse, fireworks ensue as the whole story behind Hilary’s fatal accident is revealed.
Shauna and Charlie each spill their side of the story and even point the finger at Cane (Daniel Goddard) for pressuring them to cover it up. The truth will be revealed, accusations made, ultimately leaving both Devon and Lily devastated.
Tempers Flare
Cane not only feels Devon’s wrath, but Phyllis’s too. Her best friend suffered right to the end and deserved the truth. Poor Phyllis is so distraught and Jack practically has to drag her away.
Afterward, Phyllis turns her attention to Billy (Jason Thompson). She storms into his office in an attempt to catch him gambling. However, all she finds is him working.
Sibling Rivalry
Devon then faces Lily alone and the siblings will exchange words. Devon lists all ways in which Lily treated Hilary poorly every day she was in their lives. The confrontation leads to a dramatic proclamation where Devon cuts her out of his life for good.
