The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Friday, August 3 reveals a day of heartfelt messages, dire warnings, and rising suspicions.

Honoring Hilary’s Wishes
Shauna (Camryn Hamm) takes it upon herself to pack up and leave Devon’s (Bryton James) place, but he catches her before she gets to the door. There’s no way he’s letting her move out and sits her down for a long talk.

Hilary made him promise to keep her safe and that’s exactly what he plans to do. He’s even called her parents and gotten the go-ahead to keep her room. Hilary loved her and he gives Shauna a special place in his heart too.

While this is good news, Shauna receives a devastating blow later on. She and Charlie face off about her spilling the beans.

But, that’s not all. Another truth bomb comes out. They didn’t get very far in the bedroom and she’s upset he’s pretending they went all the way.

Bitterness and Resentment
Meanwhile, Lily arrives at work intending on making this right with her brother. But, Neil (Kristoff St. John) warns this isn’t the right place or time. Devon needs his space, especially from his sister. Boy, is he right.

Devon loses his cool and  Mariah drags him out of the room to stop the fireworks. She gives him time to calm down but then he goes back for round two, this time with Neil.

An argument ensues over The Hilary Hour with Neil suggesting they sell the show and Devon wanting to put Mariah front row center instead. This was his wife’s pride and joy and it’ll live on the way SHE wanted.

Paul’s New Target
Meanwhile, Paul finds the ladies huddled at Crimson Lights and grills them again about JT.

His gut keeps telling him something’s up and he intends to find out what it is. Of course, taking on these women is hard because when the going gets tough, they band together tighter than ever.

Spoilers reveal Paul spilling his theory that Victor’s behind JT’s disappearance. While this may seem shocking to the Newman women, it seems like a plausible solution to their problem.

Righting Wrongs

The confrontation has Phyllis so rattled she calls Nick for a shoulder to lean on. A tension fills the air as they struggle to resist each other. Thankfully, one of them comes to their senses before it’s too late.

The moment has Phyllis running to Billy’s office and Nick going home to Sharon. They’re determined to make their relationships right while keeping their secret to themselves.
