The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Adam with a secret and he intends to keep hidden as long as possible. The mystery shooter is a mystery no more – at least not to the victim. But, why is he not bringing whomever it is to justice?
The gunshot definitely damages Adam’s (Mark Grossman) body but it sure does fix his mind. The trauma of the attack will trigger his memory and he will remember every part of his life.
The past, the present, and the shooting. unfortunately, he is keeping that last part to himself. (Or, was he faking the amnesia all along, finding a convenient reason to claim his memory is back.)
Expect Paul (Doug Davidson) to question Adam but definitely will not get the answers he wants.
Adam claims he did not see the gunman’s (gunwoman’s?) face and chalks the attack up to his days in the poker circuit. Who else would it be? It must be someone out to get Spider.
Is that the truth, though? Adam secretly knows his assailant and calls in a huge favor to call off the investigation. He wants to deal with this person all on his own.
If Adam is going it alone, then surely it is someone he thinks he can take. The Vegas crowd is a little too ruthless for even the sneakiest of sneaks. He would surely need back up with any of his gambling foes.
Plus, Adam is a master of diversion. His number one goal would be to send Paul down the wrong road. Which means, his assailant might be someone from his past life in GC. Could it be the woman who tried to kill him twice before?

Word on the street is Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is coming home so it’s not too far fetched for Chloe to tag along with him. Her ultimate goal was always to take Adam out and hearing he is still alive may have sent her over the edge (again).
Adam wanted her in jail all those years ago but he could see the error of his ways now. He accidentally killed her daughter then spent a year covering up the crime. It’s enough to drive any mom to the brink of insanity.
