The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Aborted Wedding Fallout!

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, October 5 pick up right after Sharon reveals to the entire church that Nick cheated on her… with Phyllis!

Billy has some follow-up questions, too…And, how will this new news affect his chances at a successful rehab?

We Were On a Break
It’s true. Technically, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) AND Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) were on a break when Nick and Phyllis slept together.

Nick found Sharon’s discarded ring and assumed their engagement was off. Phyllis had just thrown Billy out.

They got together to play some video games – you know how hot joysticks can be.

They whined about their significant others – presumed exes – and, what with one thing leading to another, they ended up having sex on Phyllis’s kitchen island.

Interestingly enough, they woke up the next morning in bed together, and not on a cheese plate.

They swore no one would ever know about this. Except Summer found out. And Kyle (Michael Mealor) found out.

And they felt the need to discuss it. Loudly. In a public place. So Mariah (Camryn Grimes) found out. And she told Sharon.

And Sharon told…everybody. Including a listening Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Christian. Great parenting, there!

Noah (Robert Adamson) was already traumatized enough from finding out Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was dating Mariah! The things your sister will do when you leave town.

Don’t Speak
Now Nick is left stammering to explain to Sharon, and he might not really have a good defense.

And Billy has some questions for Phyllis. Especially since she has just agreed to marry him.

Hey, Billy, you lied to her about your gambling and your stealing money from Jabot and her daughter kissing you. Maybe you can cut Phyllis some slack in the honesty department?

Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) were just quietly snarking about how that trashy Sharon wasn’t good enough for their golden boy son. What say you now?
